Abraham’s House Statement of Faith
* We believe the Bible to be the infallible and inerrant Word of God, that it is God’s Holy and inspired Word, and that it is the supreme and final authority for both faith and practice.
* We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
* We believe that man was created in the image of God but as a result of deliberate sin is lost and powerless to save himself. Sin is now in the “DNA” of every single human being.
* We believe everyone will face the judgment of God. The believer in Jesus Christ will be rewarded at the judgment seat of Christ and the unbeliever in Jesus Christ will face God’s judgment at the Great White Throne.
* We believe that the only hope for man is to believe on Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Son of God, Who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind, and Who rose from the dead so that by receiving Him as Savior and Lord, man is redeemed by His shed blood on the cross.
* We believe that Jesus Christ led a sinless life and that once He rose from the dead He ascended back to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our mediator and advocate.
* We believe that there is a heaven where God dwells and the saints and angels with Him and that there is place reserved for the devil and his angels at the end time judgment-the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. Unbelievers dwell in torment currently in Hades where “their worm never dies and the fire is not quenched.” The day will come, however, when Hades will be cast into the Lake of Fire. All evil will then be banished and all unbelievers will be judged according to their deeds.
* We believe that Christ is coming again soon to earth in power and glory and we, His children, will rule and reign with Him forever and ever.
* We believe we must have a concern for the hurts and social needs of our fellowman. We must do what we can to aid and assist those that are poor and suffering, especially the widows and orphans.
* We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells those who have received Christ, regenerating the spirit and enabling them to live righteous and godly lives and gifting them to serve the body of Christ.
* We believe that the Church is the living Body of Christ, and is composed of all those who through belief in Jesus Christ have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
* We believe that the mission of the church is worldwide evangelization on the one hand and the nurture and discipling of Christians on the other.
* We believe that water baptism as commanded by Christ should be observed as an outward demonstration of an inward commitment to Jesus Christ.
* We believe that God will make all things new and that there will be a new heaven and a new earth where there is no sorrow or crying, death or pain. This is our blessed hope-to live with Jesus Christ forever and ever and ever.

What Is a Festival of Giving
This is an amazing opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ on a large scale, inviting people into a relationship with the Lord through a radical crusade-type atmosphere including musicians and worship, a gospel message, altar call, prayer, sharing, and testimonies. The main draw, however, is the massive amount of free furniture, household goods, clothing, and the like that is made available after the time of ministry.
How Is A Festival of Giving Organized
Abraham’s House facilitates the Festivals of Giving. We secure the space and organize the event and work with all necessary city and property personnel. For the Tacoma Dome event we are inviting 50 churches (Christian only) to purchase a specific amount of space ranging from 100 to 500 square feet. The fee they pay for the space covers the cost of renting the exhibition center.
They may bring any donations they like and set up just as you would for a rummage sale. The items will all be made available free-of-charge after the time of ministry. Prior to the close of the event there is one final gospel presentation and a raffle drawing.
The raffle items could include vehicles, motorcycles, vacations, gold/diamond jewelry, stereo systems, large screen TVs, computers, etc. Tickets are given to everyone who comes free of charge.
Churches are advised to have a table set up specifically with information about their church and ministry focus. We recommend each person from your church wear a badge that clearly identifies who they are and what church they are representing. This is a time to serve, love, and meet your community. Take advantage of meeting those who may desperately need Jesus!

STEP #1-PRAYER!!!!!!
Tacoma Dome Prayer Guide
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” -Matt. 9:37-38
We don’t need to tell Jesus the laborers are few. They were back in Jesus’ day and they are now. Not to worry, ask the Lord…He is the Lord of the harvest and He will send workers out as we ask. Notice it is His harvest field anyway. In the coming 7 months of preparation for the Tacoma Dome Festival of Giving there are some specific areas we need to cover in prayer persistently and faithfully. This is the most important part of an event like this. The souls are won on our knees first!
-Pray protection over event, enemy bound from causing cancellationor undue financial obligations. Pray for favor with Dome staff. City of Tacoma, and others involved. Pray over the Ex. Hall.
-Pray for souls even now- that God would bring those who need to hear the gospel and that their hearts would be prepared and that they would respond by giving their lives to Christ.
-Pray for the follow-up of these new believers- that churches would embrace them and that volunteers would arise to do the follow-up at the event. Pray for the training to go smoothly and effectively.
-Pray for churches to respond excitedly to this event and begin preparing even now. Pray for generous hearts to gather the harvest of material goods needed to give away. Pray for volunteers to assist in all areas of service!
-Pray for the organizing and preparation by Tyna and the others who will lead this event. Pray for wisdom and God’s specific step-by-step instructions to be made clear. Pray for protection from attacks by the enemy over them and their families.
-Pray for the non profs and other organizations that help the needy- Pray they spread the word like wild fire inviting the needy to come.
-Pray for favor with newspapers, media, churches, and other sources of advertising. Pray God speeds the message around all of Pierce Co. of His feast laid for all to come.
-Pray for Ray and Sandy Jennings, Masters of Ceremony, The Gamlens and Nathan French, Worship Ministry, Tyna and another, the Gosepel Message and Invitation.
-Pray over the Raffle that God supplies AMAZING gifts and that miracles are done right in front of all watching!
-Pray for Ken as he creates the Dome “port” on the Abe’s House web site for this event.
*Pray that an Abraham’s House Charter 2 is established in Tacoma after the event is over. Pray a church is prepared and willing to start one!
-Pray as God leads YOU. Pray in the Spirit. Pray faithfully.
Remember this incredible promise! Are we praying God’s will for the Tacoma Dome? You bet we are! Pray boldly and with confidence! Pray Scripture!
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God-that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of Him!”
-1 John 5:14-15
Mission Scripture
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 2 Corinthians 15:58
Mission Statement
Abraham’s House is a Christ-centered 501 c-3 non-profit organization taking in good usable donations from the local community and making them available to those in need free of charge after there has been opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as Savior to all those who will hear and believe.
